Our history began with a vision for safer roads.

  • Our FoundationSylux builds on infrared technologies first developed for defense applications in the 1980s. That early expertise supported the first production automotive night vision system in 2000, establishing a technical foundation that has continued to evolve for more than four decades.
  • Our BackgroundTo carry that legacy forward, we brought together the industry’s most experienced professionals, with more than 40 years of hands-on innovation in hardware design, electronics, perception, and functional safety. Supported by Compal's decades of high-volume electronics and imaging expertise, the team focused on a clear challenge in modern ADAS: maintaining reliable classification in low light and reduced visibility conditions, when pedestrians and other vulnerable road users are most difficult to see.
